CURRENCY

Redesign

The Design

The goal of this project was to redesign U.S. currency by incorporating elements of the nation's rich history, focusing on individuals who were pioneers in their fields. For this concept, I chose to highlight Sally Ride, the first American woman in space, and Jackie Robinson, the first African American to play Major League Baseball. Both figures embody the spirit of breaking barriers and achieving historic "firsts," making them perfect symbols for this reimagined currency. Through this redesign, I aimed to celebrate their remarkable contributions and the progress they represent for the United States.
