Dramaturgy

ASU Drama School

Dramaturgy was a project I worked on for the ASU Drama Department. The goal was to create informational panels about the play Kill Move Paradise. These panels included details about the play, its themes, the writer, and the cast, along with the history of African American media and how it has shaped America. The panels also provided ideas on how to take action against discrimination. For the design, I was inspired by Kara Elizabeth Walker, an artist known for her large, black cut-paper silhouettes. Her work, while sometimes edgy and NSFW, helped me capture the intensity and emotion of the play’s message
